Stephanie Ross

I have been practicing social work for the past nine years.  My first year in practice was fortunate to receive extensive training from the Center for Evidenced Based Practices at Case Western Reserve University in Co-occurring treatment. I focus on trauma, substance abuse, mental health, and domestic violence.  I utilize holistic practices such as aromatherapy, relaxation and breathing skills, and accudetox ear seeds to empower change.  I utilize a client-centered, solution focused approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2010 with Masters in Social Work.  I became a Certified Health Facilitator in 2011 and was trained in EMDR in 2016.  I also have extensive training in Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment, and Trauma First Aid.

I have been a social worker for the past nine years.  I have experience in Co-occurring Disorders, Substance Abuse, Trauma, Severe Mental Illness, and Medicated Assisted Treatment for Opiates.  I am certified to facilitate domestic violence groups.

I became a social worker to help others find change and balance in their lives.  I believe people should be empowered to take an active role in their treatment, learning skills to take with them to support further positive change.
