I like participating in outdoor activities, especially love 4x4ing in my Jeep.  Love spending time with my wife and dog.  Exploring New Mexico Countryside. My hobbies are woodworking and shooting.

Education and experience

Robert began his counseling career in the United States Navy (76-99) in which he performed collateral duties as a Career counselor (82-96) and Equal Opportunity Programs Counselor (86-98). His foray into clinical counseling occurred when Robert became a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (96-99) and Assistant Director at the US Naval Hospital Counseling Center in Naples, Italy. Upon his honorable discharge from the Navy in 1999, Robert retired in Florida and formed Cravens Professional Services, LLC (1999-2014) in Grant, FL. and began a business focused on training corporations and their leadership to adhere to local, state and national equal opportunity standards. The founding of Cravens Professional Services, LLC served as a segue into Life Coaching, Mental Health Counseling and College Instructor of Psychology and Counseling. While in Florida, Robert was President of the Space Coast Mental Health Counselor’s Association 3 times. Robert holds multiple certifications for specialized therapies including Clinical Hypnotherapy and EMDR. Robert moved to New Mexico in 2014 and currently works for Recycled Man, LLC dba A New Awakening Rio Rancho in New Mexico.
