From 2011 to 2013 I was a volunteer, and later an administrator, at Agora Crisis Center in Albuquerque New Mexico. During this time I provided counseling and crisis services through the Agora hotline and as an administrator I oversaw services rendered. I have been an intern at A New Awakening Rio Rancho since the start of 2019, where I have worked to develop my therapeutic skills. I am excited to be graduating this fall, after which I will be working at A New Awakening as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
WHY I AM A COUNSELOR:
I became a counselor to help create positive change in peoples lives and within my community.
My goal is to obtain my independent licensure and to create positive change in the world.
My areas of interests include addiction, research, and mindfulness techniques.
For fun I enjoy camping, hiking, and traveling. I also enjoy cooking and learning new recipes.
