Angelica Cravens has worked in the mental health field since 2010. Although she did not start her journey as a therapist until 2019. She has worked in the administration part of the mental health field from an administrative assistant, billing coordinator, human resources manager, and part owner of Cravens Professional Services, LLC. As doing her work in the administrative part of the mental health field she became very interested in the clinical part of the mental health field. In 2019 she began her journey to becoming a Licensed Social Worker. During this journey she has worked at the 13th Juridical Court District, Sandoval as an inter with Pre-trial services and Client Support Service. In 2020 she worked as an intern at A Child’s Voice until she graduated with her Master’s in Social Work.
Before pursuing her Master’s in Social Work, she received her Bachelor’s in Science in Accounting and her Master’s in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources. During her pursuit of a Master’s in Social Work she received training in First Responders Trauma, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Suicide Prevention, Psychopharmacology, and differential Diagnosis of Co-Occurring Disorders.

She wanted to pursue her Master’s in Social Work because she wanted to be able to help more people. Her goals as a Social Worker are to be able to work with people with traumatic experience no matter the age of the client.
